One more feather in the cap of Dr. (H.C.) Samir Shamkant Jage, Chief Trustee, Sakshi Charitable Trust
It is a matter of great pleasure and happiness that H.E.Amb Dr. Samir Shamkant Jage, Chief Trustee, Sakshi Charitable Trust has been appointed as the "Global Peace Ambassador" of the American University of Global Peace, U.S.A. under the United Nations and the European Union on December 24,2023. With reference to his appointment,the Founder as well as the Chancellor of this University, Scientist, Ex Minister of California, His Eminence Dr. Madhu Krishan Sir honoured Dr. Samir S. Jage with the Certificate of Global Peace Ambassador, Identity Card, Medal, Trophy of Honour in Mumbai on March 20,2024 in the presence of many renowned personalities. At the same time, Dr. Samir Jage was privileged to have the prestigious "Golden Badge", acknowledged by the United Nations and the European Union, which will enable him to paticipate in the Global Peace Mission. Very soon, he will be issued the Diplomatic Passport.
The function was attended by the prominent personalities such as Padmashri Anoopji Jalota, Her Highness Smt. Asharaje Gaikwad, the Chief of Iskcon, Shri. Prabhu Surdasji, the Indian Consul of Georgia, Shri. Satinder Ahuja , the well-known artiste Shri. Dhirajkumar, Shri. Naushad and and several eminent officers of I.A.S. and I.R.S. Cadre.

Samir S Jage, Chief Trustee of Sakshi Charitable Trust, Mumbai and five others living in India were honoured by the American University Of Global Peace, U.S.A. by bestowing upon them the Honorary Degree of Doctorate on July 5, 2023. Further to this, Dr. Samir S Jage, one and only out of six, has been selected on the basis of recommendations made by " World Governing Council of Governors and Senate Members of American University of Global Peace, U.S.A." such as H E AMB DR. Shefki Hysa, Governor Of Diplomatic Mission of Peace and Propsperity and International Governor of United Nations University of Global Peace, U.S.A., His Eminence Sir Dr. Madhu Krishan, Chairman cum Chief Rector, Chancellor AUGP, U.S.A. and H H Sir Dr. Lakshman Madhursingha , Chancellor, AUGP, U.S.A., Dr. Samir S Jage, has been now appointed " Peace Ambassador" [ Diplomat Category ] of American Universiry of Global Peace of United Nations and European Union on December 24, 2024.
He has also been honoured with the title, " His Excellency Ambassador" which he can use before his name. It is a matter of the greatest pleasure that very soon he will be participating in " Global Peace Mission " organised collectively by United Nations and European Union.
The American University USA, has awarded the Honorary degree of DOCTOR OF SOCIAL SERVICES to Shri. Samir Shamkant Jage for his outstanding services to establish Peace and Prosperity in the society.
